Melissa is a Milwaukee native with a Master's in Education, specializing in at-risk youth. She is deeply passionate about her community and committed to positive change through her work. In addition to her dedication to education, Melissa is a passionate advocate and integral Board Director for Black Pride Milwaukee, Inc. As the owner of Missy’s Lounge, she provides a welcoming space for our Black Pride Tuesdays, which have become a cornerstone of community engagement and celebration. Melissa's commitment to fostering inclusive and safe environments for the Black LGBTQIA+ community is evident through her support of our events and initiatives.
